The Reserve is reached from River Road and stretches up from Woronora to
Jannali. There are several walkways of varying difficulty, complemented by
look-out points and resting places. At river level there are barbeques
(wood), picnic tables, seating, playground, shelter sheds, parking, a
sandy beach and boat ramp.

There are walks, tracks, paths and look-out points in this old park. An
unusual feature is its ruggedness, despite its early establishment. A
contrasting stretch of land encompassing some kilometres, the Prince
Edward Park attracts family groups and individuals who are looking for a
bracing and challenging hike. Entries points are at Sutherland Oval, and
adjacent to Woronora R.S.L. Club in Prince Edward Park Road. There are
barbeques (wood), picnic facilities, shelter sheds, childrens playground,
access to Woronora River, change rooms and toilets.

The museum contains over 40 tramcars from most Australian cities plus
from USA, Germany and Japan, as well as photographic and tramway
memorabilia displays. Trams operate on the Museum's 1.5km tramline towards
Sutherland (Wed/Sun/pub. hols) and another line into Royal National Park
(hourly 9.15am-4.15pm Sun/pub. hols/limited service on Weds). Additional
days during school holidays. Limited parking is available in Pitt Street.
Day ticket covers unlimited tram rides & includes museum display hall,
picnic area with electric bbqs, plus kiosk and souvenir shop. Hours: Wed
9:30am-3:30pm; Sun/Public Hol 10am-5pm (last entry 1 hour before closing)
Fees: $14 adult day ticket; $8 conc. school-age children/seniors (as at
1.9.03)

1770 flora survey around Botany Bay. Ferny gulleys, rainforest areas,

Camellias and azaleas are planted among native blueberry ash, tree fern,
sassafras, eucalypts and Christmas bush, with Yowie Bay as a scenic
background. The best time for camellias is in July to October, but the
garden is worth visiting all year. The botanical collection of deciduous
trees and shrubs numbers hundreds, incl. silver variegated box elder,
elms, tallowwood, pistacia, maples and dawn redwood, providing summer
shade for camellias. Other exotic plants complement a fine collection of
roses and magnolias. Teahouse (open Mon-Fri 9.30am-3.30pm, Sat-Sun
9.30am-4.30pm). Kiosk, playground equipment, barbeques (electric, free),
toilets. Closed Good Friday, Christmas & Boxing Days. Hours:
Mon-Fri 9am-4pm,weekends/public holidays 9.30am-5pm (6pm daylight saving).

Lilli Pilli Point Reserve, with Quota park opposite it across Lilli Pilli
Point Road, looks out over a broad expanse of the Hacking River and to
where South West Arm emerges from the Royal National Park. It is only a
narrow tract of land with some small cliffs that drop sharply away to the
river and originally its dense vegetation made it somewhat inaccessible.
Scrub was cleared to make way for grassy areas, trees planted, paths
constructed through the vegetation and stairs built to provide access to
the shoreline. Paths, tidal pools, toilets, trails.

Bicentennial Playgound, designed for 0-8 yrs. Enclosed tidal pool, change
rooms, toilets (1 accessible) and 3 shaded shelter sheds which cannot be
booked, first-in-first-served. 'Regulatory Notices' are erected
prohibiting the consumption and possession of alcohol within the Park at
all times unless written approval has been obtained from Council.

Description: Facilities include :picnic shelters, electric BBQs,
toilets/disabled toilets, drinking water, playground, viewing area.
Certain activities are prohibited at SCA dams and picnic areas to protect
water quality and the environment. These include horse riding, abseiling,
shooting, archery, swimming, fishing and non-powered boating. Dogs are
permitted PROVIDED they are on a leash at all times. As part of its
commitment to adopting the best environmental practices, the SCA prohibits
fires at all of its recreational areas AT ALL TIMES.
Hours: 10am-5pm every day. 10am-7pm during daylight saving time Sat, Sun
